Hey, If you try to install the new plug in: don't forget to rename the .zip file into .xpi . Next, run thunderbirth, extra, extentions, select .xpi file and restart thunderbirth.
I tought it wasn't working, but it seems to work nice !
Thanks Plaxo team !

I just want to make three corrections. The email service is Thunderbird and not thunderbirth, which i have no idea where you got from. Also thunderbird has extensions and not plugins /images/graemlins/smile.gif.
And I dont think you have given the right instructions since an "extra" button does not exist on Thunderbird.
I would recommend just following the instructions given at this link:

Yeah, that renaming that IE does to the .XPI files is odd. The files *are* really just zip files, but why should it decide to rename it? Our QA group is still looking at this issue. Maybe someone out there will come up with the answer /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Payam
Yeah, I never realised I wrote Thunderbirth instead of Thunderbird, Will not happen again... /images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'm used to install plug-ins (see adobe software etc.) instead of extensions /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

We gave up trying to figure out why IE was weirdly renaming the file, but our operations team smartly figured out a workaround. The download should now work flawlessly.
