mobile access and garbled umlauts (äöüß)

When I (German user) try to synchronize my contacts, dates etc. with mobile access the umlauts are not shown correctly in the WAP-browser of my SE Z600. This makes reading not as easy as it could be. Do you have any idea, what I can do? Is there an Plaxo-option to convert umlauts correctly? If there is no solution to it, mobile access is rather useless for me.

I'm sorry to hear that umlauts are getting mangled. As someone who has lived in Germany and spoke at least rudimentary German, I understand the importance of these little dots /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Can you please tell me:
- What manufacturer makes the SE Z600 phone?
- Are you able to see umlauts on the WAP browser with other pages? If so, could you please give examples?
- Who is your mobile services provider? (T-Mobile, etc.)
