I don't know if it is a server or client problem.

I see the same when syncing in linux. Fast sync then seems to work, but doesn't sync anything.

I'm having the same problem with slow synchs failing. (Windows XP / Thunderbird)

Same for me, looks much like Michrone's problem. I have a logfile available if needed as well.
