/images/graemlins/confused.gif Does anyone know why I occasionally get a screen that says:

Your session has timed out. Please sign in again.

in a pink banner at the top of the page when I go to Plaxo Online? No one has been able to answer this question satisfactorily to me yet. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Hi,

The screen that tells you that, " Your session has timed out ! " means that your Plaxo account has been inactive for quite some time and hence you have been Logged Out automatically. In order to keep on using your Plaxo account you need to Sign---In again. This is meant to keep your account secure. It hepls keep your personal information secure by Logging out of your account after being left Idle for some time, as sometimes we forget to Sign Out of our account.

It works on the same principle as some of the Email Service Providers work, like Yahoo! . If you Sign In to your Yahoo Email account and keep it Idle for some time, You are Logged Out automatically and You need to Sign In again in order to use your Yahoo Email account. Plaxo works on the same principle to safeguard your Personal Information.

I hope this helps you understand the concept of ' Auto Log Off ' OR ' Session Expired ' concept, please feel free to contact me in case you want to know more about it.

regards,

Silas.
