Plaxo has created incorrect linkings online

For some reason my Outlook contacts folder (which on my computer is //personal folders/contacts) was linked to //personal folders/calendars/contacts. So in an attempt to fix this, I deleted the folder online. I then opened the sync manager and told plaxo to "create a new folder" for the unlinked contacts folder. However, plaxo decides to put it right back into //personal folders/calendars/contacts!!! WHY?! Why is there no feature for me to simply choose the linking specifically, especially when plaxo seems to be unable to link them correctly? Please help me resolve this issue as it seems to be causing me problems with duplicate entries on my other machines.
