Messages Won't Display In Descending Order

I'm puzzled. In my preferences I have clicked that I would like messages to display in descending date order. But, when I go to read them in the forums, they remain in ascending order, with the oldest one first. I then have to scroll down, sometimes far, to get to the most recent message. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? Thank you very much.

Are you talking about reading these Forum messages??? The forums themselves are unrelated to Plaxo Online. If you wish to sort messages in the Forum, click on the appropriate column header. Notice the arrow on the selected column header, which toggles between ascending or decending.
