Update - Thunderbird 1.5 Release

Yep, I'm still here, making a shamefully delayed re-appearance.

Here is the quick update. It looks like Thunderbird 1.5 is going to hit RC2 this weekend so I'm going to get a release out next week. I will also toss in some of the requested features and bug fixes in the release.

Why have I been gone so long? Do a search on Google News for Plaxo and you'll see that we did a deal with AOL for their new AIM messenger. There was a significant portion of work for Outlook on that and I was pulled in for the last few months to get that going.

So, bottom line, I will have an upgrade available next week (maybe tomorrow). I already have it working in my local workspace here, so I feel confident about this release.

Thunderbirds seperate address books to divide contact types instead of folders... The above post should clarify..

OK, two pieces of info.

#1 - Thunderbird 1.5 or Plaxo has a bug with the Javascript Eval function. I'm getting the security warning: "http.main - EvalError: function eval must be called directly, and not by way of a function of another name". I have to track this down before we can get any further. Right now I'm trying to get a working build of just the 1.5 (I built 1.6 :-). Then I can locate this bug.

#2 - on the Multiple addresbook / folder support. They are the same. I'll call them multiple folders since they are really folders on Outlook, Plaxo Online, and other clients. Even in Tbird, you access them through a single addressbook window rather than in a window per addressbook store.

Thanks for the update, and looking forward. I am still stubbornly clinging to my Thunderbird 1.5 beta 2 so as not to give up my beloved Plaxo.

Where can I download the Plaxo-Update for Thunderbird 1.5 (German Version)?

I'm confused. It looks to me like in the post above you guys said you'd have a release that would work with Thunderbird 1.5RC2. However, it doesn't seem like anything is available. What am I missing?
