Seeing my Tasks in my Calendar is a dream I've had for quite some time. I manage my time probably more with Tasks than Appointments.
With Pocket Informant on my Pocket PC I am able to do this, and Task Management has become vital in my own personal and professional time and productivity management. I can also assign priorities to my Tasks, as well as create hierarchies - Parent and child Tasks.
This same feature has never been available in Outlook, however, until very recently. Agendus for Windows Outlook Edition, which acts as a COM add-in to Outlook, allows showing Tasks in the Outlook calendar. While not supporting Pocket Informant's Priority designations, Agendus Outlook Edition does offer a grid prioritization which mirrors David Allen's "Getting Things Done" Task Management protocol.
Viewing my Tasks with priorities, start dates, and due dates on my calendar has made my personal and professional time and productivity management much more powerful.
The ability to see this same coordination of Appointments and Tasks in Plaxo would, in my opinion, make Plaxo perfect - completely unrivaled in its field. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
