personal e-mail addresses to additional fields

I've been using Plaxo with Outlook Express for several months and love it. My wife uses Thunderbird and I'm trying to get her to use Plaxo, so I installed the toolbar. When syncing, it appears that it always takes the first business e-mail address in Plaxo and puts in the e-mail address field in Thunderbird and the first personal e-mail address from Plaxo and puts it in the additional e-mail address field in Thunderbird. And, it does that even if there are no business e-mail addresses. Nearly all of my wife's address book entries are personal e-mail addresses, so almost all of her Thunderbird address book entries now have the e-mail address field blank and the additional e-mail address filled in with the correct address. I'd like to see the mapping be a bit smarter ... that if there are no business e-mail addresses, plug the personal e-mail address in as the e-mail address in Thunderbird rather than stuffing it in the additional e-mail address field and leaving the (primary) e-mail address field blank.

It is a two part problem, one is that Plaxo isn't the smartest thing in the world when it comes to figuring out what thing is suppose to go in what field; the other problem is, the T-Bird address book isn't as robust as Plaxo's or Outlook (Express)'s address books are.
I really wish to see both things fixed up.

I need your help- somehow my business email and info has been used and updated with plaxo instead of my personal e-mail info. I never intended to have all of my personal contacts using my business email-which is housingsolutions4U@yahoo. The contact info e-mail that is supposed to be used was eaglelena@sbcglobal.net

It is extremely important to rectify/ clarify this error promptly.

I'm not using the Thunderbird toolbar, but if it's at all like Plaxo for Outlook or Plaxo Online, then which email address they see depends on which of your Plaxo cards that you share with them.

Eg- If you are sharing your Plaxo Business Card they will see your business address. Similarly, if you share your Personal Plaxo Card with them, they will then see your personal email address.

You can check by looking at Plaxo Online and clicking on the "Sharing" tab. The Briefcase icon represents your business card, while the House icon represents your Personal card.
