Hello ladies & gentlemen,
I tried to install Plaxo on Thunderbird- I downloaded the extension, and it said to restart Thunderbird to install the extension. I double clicked on Thunderbird afterwards and it was followed by an indefinite waiting time of the hourglass. I have tried this a few times, and lately it says that this version of Plaxo is not compatible with my Thunderbird, but there isn't anything I can do about it. I have to press okay and wait forever again (10+ minutes with nothing showing up).
I tried ctrl+alt+dlt and the task manager seems to show the thunderbird program continually restarting and quitting itself. I cannot shut it down manually this way, and even if I shut down the computer it still waits forever for this to 'shut down', so I am forced to literally pull the plug. Any ideas on how to to manually remove or fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
