Calendar - old items

Hello everyone, and Happy Holidays!

Does anyone know how to have Plaxo remove old items from the calendar? I have sync'd my plaxo to my home and work outlook, but it is showing items in the online calendar that are from last year, even though they don't appear in my calendar for current dates.

Hi Audrey.

Try this:

<ul type="square"> Right-Click the folder that contains the old items

Select Properties

Select the AutoArchive tab

Select "Archive this folder using these settings:"

Check the option "Clean Out Items Older Than"

Enter a number in months (how often archiving will run) and then select "months" as the unit.

Select "Permanently delete old items"

Or, if you would like to keep a record of these old items, create another folder within Outlook and name it "Archive Folders" and create subfolders within there named "Calendar", "Tasks", etc., and select "Move old items to" instead of "Permanently delete old items"

Left-click on "Apply"

Left-click on "OK"[/list]

If you have just one calendar set up in Outlook - which is the default setting - then perform the above steps on the folder named Calendar in Outlook. You can also set this up for Tasks and Notes also.

For example, if you set it for three months, when Outlook auto-archives your folders it will remove the calendar events from the folders that you set up this way that are older than three months.
