The other day I was helping a frind sign up for Plaxo and I noticed you now how the widget there so users can import their Yahoo, Hotmail contacts etc. to Plaxo as they signup. I thought this was cool so later decided to login to my acount on Plaxo Online and import my Hotmail contacts using the same method.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be possible. Is there a way to do this? I went to 'import contacts' on the contacts page but it only lets you import Yahoo, no hotmail. Please add this.... :)

OllyS - I think you may be confusing two separate things here.

If you'd like to import in your Hotmail information into your Plaxo account, you'll need to do this through a CSV file import. It is possible to import in your Hotmail address book when first setting up your account, but unfortunately we currently have a bug in Plaxo Online whereby the Hotmail import is not available once you become a Plaxo member.

Importing in from Yahoo should not be a problem. You also can install the Plaxo Toolbar for IE and configure it to continually sync with your Yahoo! account.

Any chance we will see this fixed?
