Plaxo for Mac Beta 2 posted

Fri Feb 17 2006 01:07 AM - Hi, Plaxo for Mac Beta 2 has indeed been posted to that URL (http://down.plaxo.com/down/mac/release/PlaxoMac.zip). We haven't publicly announced this release yet, since it's literally hot off the presses. We're currently monitoring the logs to find any issues that might come up.

If some adventurous folk do go ahead and try it out, please send any feedback or bug reports to beta-mac@plaxo.com . Thanks!

Basically - if you are less adventurous, you may want to wait a week or so until the early results come in and things settle down. We'd hate to see a tremendous number of people download the beta 2 only to find we missed a serious bug that impacts everyone.

We'll post something to this forum when we are confident the beta 2 is ready for general consumption.

I've tried to use the download link for the BETA version for MAC but it does not work do you have another link, page or FTP download page for this version?

http://down.plaxo.com/down/mac/release/PlaxoMac.zip appears to work for me. There is no other location to download the beta 2.

Awesome!!!! Hooah!!!! you made my day. I had such a hard time retreiving my info when I set up my pc, oh a year ago. I bought a Mac and found your downloads, was disappointed, looked for more, found these forums and your wonderful beta download. Wow!!! Can u make it any easier?

Glad to hear the enthusiam!!! We are slowly getting the word out regarding the Mac beta. There are already a couple of Mac download sites that have posted reviews and pointers to the mac beta 2, all without any prompting on our part.
