..... here are a few of the wierd and wonderful things that happend when you do.
LABELS
Labels seem to go out one way and come back another. Eg. what started as mobile (phone field) comes back from Plaxo as 2 fields, one is mobile and the other is work mobile. Same happens for any phone field not called work (they come back as work 2). Given Plaxo's fields I think I understand what's happening. Now I just delete the plain old 'mobile' field.
It's not so good with the other phone fields. I use 'main' as a place to store the switchboard number rather than the direct dial. This now reappears as work 2. (The old 'main' is still there). This is not so good.
Same happens with the following:
home page: URL comes back with an extra field work: URL
UPDATE RESPONSES - ADDRESSES
I have had a few responses to update requests where people have corrected the address information. This does not seem to populate the fields correctly, ie the address they typed appears as one string in the first address field. I then have to use this to populate the fields manualy.

PHONE NUMBER FORMATTING - PLAXO MEMBERS
I keep all phone numbers in international format. Ie, +1 123 234 5678. This is so that I can dirct dial from wherever I happen to be on my mobile and the same if I am using skype. Where my contact is also a plaxo member, the number fields come back matching how they have been entered by the contact. This means anyway and anyhow, (eg (0) 123 234 5678, +1 (0) 123 234 5678, 123 234 5678 etc etc). Again I find myself reverting these manually. Is there a way I can retain my number formatting?.
