there is an e2xo sync and something for Entourage.. but is there a timetable for something that would extend beyond contacts? It is really a missing link in Plaxo for the Mac.

We're currently building Calendar sync support into the next version of Plaxo for Mac. After that, we'll definitely be looking at other data types as well.

Ditto on the comments re Calendar Sync testing and I'll gladly go premium for it when it goes live!!

Then the only thing missing will be SyncML support - the market is really missing a decent product in this area so it would be an easy win !

Truly delighted to hear this. I am a Plaxo Premium subscriber, and your excellent service helps me keep my calendar, notes and to-do list synchronized between my work and home computers (four machines in all.)

I am not sure how I ever lived without it, and it is definitely one of the best value-for-money purchases for a busy person who works on more than one computer.

Problem is, one of my home computers is a MacBook! I can always use Plaxo Online to look at my calendar and make new entries, but iCal intregration for calendar entries and tasks/to-dos would be really, really wonderful.

Plaxo for mac works well for me, but of course, having to sync differently for calandar is a pain. Is there any detail on when we can see the Calandar sync?

Does anyone know if there is a way to sync with Entourage's Calander and Contacts to Plaxo? This would be of great benefit, since I can't do it now. I don't use Ical or Addrss book...

Not directly now, no. Plaxo for Mac can indirectly synchronize your Entourage contacts if you are on OS 10.4 (tiger) and are using Entourage 2004. You'd have to engage the Entourage preference to sync your contacts with Apple's iSync. Not an ideal solution by any stretch of the imagination but it does work.

The big issue affecting our plans with Entourage is that Microsoft is being forced to make significant code changes to the Office suite in order to release Universal applications that will run on both PowerPC and Intel based Macs. After Microsoft completes this transition, we'll be in a better place to evaluate native support for Entourage with our software.
