Plaxo does not update my Outlook contacts

I use Outlook Express for email, but Outlook for my contacts. I use the well known registry hack to make my Outlook database my email database for Outlook Express. I get lots of contact update notifications, but my Outlook contacts list (about 2,300 contacts) never gets updated. As a result, when I send email, I could be using the wrong email address even though Plaxo has notified me of a new email address.

What can I do to make Plaxo update my Contacts database with any new information it receives?

I don't know the details of the registry hack you're using, but in general Plaxo should be able to update the contacts in Outlook.

You can check Plaxo, Advanced, Synchronization Manager just to make sure the folders are properly set up, and maybe try creating or modifying a contact on Plaxo Online, then do Plaxo, Advanced, Sync Now in Plaxo for Otlook and make sure the change comes down ok.
