AOL Contacts migrated, but inaccessible

All AOL contacts made it over to Outlook via Plaxo, but they do not appear in the email address book (the source for addressing a new email), just in the contacts folder. Outlook has an option to pick from other address books, but it's disabled somehow. Has anyone encoutered anything like this?

Hmm, if you right-click on your Contacts folder in Outlook, and then click on the Outlook Address Book tab, is there a checkbox for Show this folder as an e-mail address book? Make sure it is checked.

Other than that, I'm not sure what the problem might be, but you could try contacting Microsoft customer support.
