Hello,

I am using AOL v9 SE and I have a sync option and it directs me to a page that ultimately forces me to download a plaxo client. I do this, I choose the outlook toolbar, as that was my goal. I then proceed and set up the outlook toolbar. I attempt to setup what I think would be my AOL address book, but it appears to be AIM instead? Ok fine, confusing but acceptable.

My issue, it only seems to sync 17 out of over 70 entries from AOL. I had 1 entry in outlook before hand, and yes that made it to AOL, but the other direction appeared to be a bit buggy, what am I doing wrong??

Can someone please give me step-by-step directions on how to properly set this up from the AOL end to the outlook integration.

Thank you

HI,
In order to get your AOL address to sync up with Outlook, please follow the next steps:
1. Uninstall Plaxo toolbar:
go to Start>All Programs>Plaxo>Uninstall Plaxo Toolbar for outlook
2. Download latest Triton build from www.aim.com and install it.
3. Launch Triton and sign in with your user name
4. When you launch Triton, you would be ask to add buddies, select Outlook to import all your contacts into Triton
5. Follow the setup instructions wizard for triton, setup your address book, and closest to the end select to install the Plaxo Toolbar for Outlook and finish the First Time Setup Wizard.
5. Launch Outlook, when you lauch Outlook, you will presented with a Setup Wizard, make sure you configure this toolbar with the same screen name you are using in Triton. That way, you will be conected from Outlook to Triton via Plaxo.
6. Any changes you make either on triton or outlook will be eventually be syncronized via Plaxo.

Please let me know if you have any problems following this steps.
Thank You!
Ana

Is there really no other way to do this? I have a user who is entering addresses in AOL, but they stopped showing up in Plaxo. We have tried all the suggestions, including removing and adding the account.

If I do try to use the Triton, do I first have to remove my association with AOL? Also, what are the sync differences between AOL sync, and the Triton sync. Thank you for your help.
