The latest Plaxo I just installed has an annoying "feature" enabled "Show Click to Call Icons in Address Book". In our company we already have an phone service. Understandable Plaxo wants to make bugs from us in the but during installation it should at least ask if this feature should be enabled or not.

Yes - The click-to-call icon is one way Plaxo is able to generate revenue to support the free service that most of our members utilize (we also provide the Plaxo Premium subscription). Personally, I don't feel the icons are intrusive or annoying. They are there as a convenience so the Plaxo users can easily call the contact with a simple click. In general, the feedback on the click-to-connect has been very favorable as an easy, low cost solution for making long distance phone calls. But for those who do not wish to see the icons, as you may have noticed, there is the option to turn off the icons if so desired.
