Just a couple of quick ideas that you may wish to keep in mind for future improvements.
I am focusing on the use of Plaxo more of a business tool, rather than a simple contacts sharing utility.
Group Membership - A concept whereby when you join you could subscribe to a 'group' membership (or multiple groups) would be useful. ie. I might subscribe to group 'Company A Pty Ltd' which would then allow me to see all the users in this group (ie. all their up to date details) as well as potentially client contacts (ie. download all up to date client details). This would allow companies to effectively share information with each other without the use of a common MS Exchange server or similar.
Please see my below points which would further influence the above.
Improve Signatures - I think the ability to customize your siganture and maybe save a personalized 'template' would be useful. ie. when you join plaxo group, you could see the default signature, and it would update with your name and phone numbers. This signature would need to be created using a rich-text editor or similar, as the templates you have now would not be suitable to people like myself who already have an established signature format.
Shared Contact Folders - The ability to create and share contact folders, whereby I could create a contacts folder (eg. Customer List A) and then share it with everyone else in my group.
Shared Calendar Folders - The ability to create a new outlook calendar, and then submit it for group membership, so others could also subscribe to it. Also maybe the ability for others to subscribe to a sync-copy of my personal calendar (useful for small distributed companies, or event calendars).
Web Drive Facility - This one is probably a bit off the beaten track, but maybe with your Platinum service you could offer a simple 'web drive' which gives users 100mb of disk space they could use to save / transport data. More incentive to sign up for a premium service? It would need to be simple to access tho, so an applet which sits in your taskbar or something.
Plaxo Details for Subscriptions - Last yet not least, the ability for users to use their plaxo details to sign into websites. A company could pay you a subscription to allow users to sign into their website / forums etc. with their plaxo details. Once they log in, the authentication token is sent to you, and you send back the users details ie. first name, last name etc. This one is a bit more risky, yet I think it shows potential.
Anyway, you can see the common theme here. I hope it is of interest and gives you some possible ideas for continuing your great service!
