Scriptaculous, Prototype & Plaxo

I recently tried to add plaxo address book widget in my site which currently uses scriptaculous with prototype, suddenly my scriptaculous effects in ie doesn't work anymore, they work in firefox but not in ie6;

I really like to implement both so if anyone can help me.

I am going to add my weight to this. I am trying to use plaxo on my site for evite-style guest list invitations (http://www.yourbarguide.com)

However Plaxo is breaking on my Scriptaculous include.

This is a deal breaker, I am trying to hack the scriptaculous or plaxo JS to find a work-around, but I have not come up with a solution yet.

I just changed the widget code in abc_launcher.js to not use $ or Class (we borrowed these from prototype.js, which scriptaculous also uses). We had to fix this to not interfere with jQuery, but it may fix your problem as well. Can you please try it again and see if it works now? If not, can you please send me an example of a web page with scriptaculous where it breaks when you use the widget? Thanks! js

I appear to be getting the same error originally mentioned with regard to this conflict (actually in the JQuery thread). I'm trying to use the plaxo widget on a page alongside Prototype and Scriptaculous.

The error is:
