I use Plaxo for business purposes. If I wanted to send my Personal business card to those folks, I would, but I do not. So why does Plaxo CONSTANTLY ask me, "Send XXXXX your personal information?" This is a stupid and useless feature and should be removed immediately.
Thank you.

Are you referring to the option you receive in an Alert?
This is to notify you that you are currently sharing your business information, but not your personal information with the contact. Many people use Plaxo for business purposes, but also to manage personal information as well. Many people have both business and personal relationships with the same contacts and may wish to share additional details with the contact. Plaxo gives you these options.
The alert is informing you that should you wish to share your personal information with the contact, you must do so explicitly, and a button is provided for your convenience to "Send XXXXX your personal information". If you do not wish to share your personal information, they alert is simply informational of changes to your address book and no action is required.
So while I would disagree that this is stupid and useless feature, if you don't wish to receive these types of alerts, you have the ability to turn them off entirely or on a contact-by-contact basis. Click on the communication preferences link at the bottom of the alert to modify your preferences.

Yes, that is what I am referring to and I still believe it is a stupid feature. You are assuming users are too idiotic to KNOW they are sharing ONLY their business information, and since most of your users are probably business people, why ask if they want to share their personal information also?
I may wish to receive various alerts, but not this one and I certainly don't want to go through my contacts one-by-one to do it, so the feature should go, I feel.

Agreed! Really, REALLY annoying especially when you have to manually click through a lot of them. Maybe an alternative would be to present that dialog as a list with a "select all' option?
