I opened my Outlook Contacts today, only to find that the area of my OUTLOOK Card which is "powered by Plaxo" which allowed me to "track changes," had been replaced by a very large and colorful advertisment for Plaxo enabling me to invite my contacts to "get Plaxo."
In the "old" version, there was a similar, yet smaller button, which I actually used quite frequently, to invite non-Plaxo contacts to sign up for Plaxo. Now, a large portion of my Outlook card feels like a very large Plaxo advertisment, yet, I now have fewer features than when I joined as a VIP Premium member.
The "Track Changes" feature was very useful, but now I can only "get it" if I first "log-on" to Plaxo Online. Why would I want to do this, when the feature had been right there for me, as was a reasonably sized "invite me" button? (Unlike the behemoth button that is there now.) So, if it wasn't broke, why "fix it?"
I don't want to downgrade my level of service. I pay for Premium and I expect Premium. However, given the choice, I'd discontinue Plaxo, if I have to continue to look at a large Plaxo ad each and everytime I open my Outlook contacts.
And frankly, I do NOT want to wait until the next version release. I want my very important "track changes" feature back immediately. I paid for it, and I want it, or I would prefer to have my money back.
