hi guys
whenever i open a new email in outlook 2003 and click the (to) button, i see the contact's email address or addresses and his/her fax number in the list. is there a way to show only the email address or addresses without the fax number?
i'm using the free version of plaxo.
thank you

I believe this is an Outlook thing, and unrelated to Plaxo. The fields that show up in the Select names dialog box are determined by your Outlook config.

Outlook does this on its own and it is a problem that drove me nuts for quite qwhile. To fix this, edit each fax number and type in "fax" and a space before the phone number starts (i.e. - "fax (555) 555-5555"). This stops outlook from reading the number (it now thinks it is all text) and it won't bug you although you can still read the number if you need to retreive it.

It's an outlook feature. You can try checking here: http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm for tools that may be able to help with this feature.
