Problems synching Outlook 2003 from Plaxo server

Hi all,

I would really appreciate some advice on a problem that is really stumping me!

I have Plaxo installed at home and the toolbar within Outlook 2003. Everything syncs fine, calendar, tasks etc no problems at all.

At my new job they also use Outlook 2003 and I thought 'sweet!'. Downloaded the toolbar, used my same login details, it installed, then I tried to sync. The first sync seemed to take ages, and appeared to work, but all it did was download all of my tasks - none of my addressbook or calendar items downloaded.

I then tried to sync again. This time the taskbar states 'sending data' but just hangs about 1/3 along the bar. It sits there for ages and just doesnt budge. The following day I gave it another go, but all it did was hang at the same spot, for hours. It seems that Plaxo cannot get to the server to get my data, or send my data to the server. All other aspects are fine on my system at work. Using Windows XP and all the other standard set ups.

Any advice greatly appreciated as this is driving me cuckoo!!

Assuming there are no network issues on your Work computer which might prevent your system from completing the connection to Plaxo....

Check the Sync Manager on your Work computer (Preference / Tools / Sync Manager). See what it says for the folders is does not appear to be downloading.
