Where do the contacts sync to?

When using Plaxo Mobile Plus, where exactly do the contacts sync to? Does it work like Airset, where it only syncs to the Airset application or does it actually add them to the phone's native contact list? I use a carkit from Parrot and it syncs itself to the native contact list of the phone so it is important that they end up there.

Any timeline for other carriers, particularly Sprint?

Plaxo Mobile Plus will sync to your phone's address book if your phone has the capability to support that.

BREW phones have this capability and Plaxo Mobile Plus lets you choose which contacts sync to your phone's address book. Some Java (J2ME) phones support JSR-75 which is the capability required to sync to the phone's address book.

Sprint offers Java (J2ME) phones, so it depends on what phone you have.

We're working on getting Plaxo Mobile Plus available on other carriers and phones.

Is there a list of phones somewhere that does this?

Also, why do I see multiple listings of contacts on my phone (a Verizon Motorola V325)(refering to in the Plaxo Mobile + app) when they do not exist on Plaxo Online? I deleted some contacts and merged others via the web and this is not being sync'd when I sync my phone.

Hi Eric,

I think you're asking which phones support sync. For Verizon, the BREW technology they use has the ability to support sync to the phone's address book.

On your V325, if I understand you correctly, it sounds like a bug.

I think you are saying that you see duplicates either in the phone's address book or in the Plaxo Mobile Plus app on the phone, is that correct? And that the changes you are making in Plaxo Online aren't showing up in the phone's address book?
