Did Plaxo crash my Outlook 2000?

I was running Outlook 2000 SR2 on my desktop. I installed the Plaxo toolbar with AIM Triton. A week or two after the installation Outlook would no longer open. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling outlook several times but nothing worked. Now we have a laptop with Outlook 2003 and I'm afraid of installing the toolbar for fear that it will do the same thing. Is this a known issue?:confused:

Plaxo is widely used on systems with OL 2K as well as OL 2K3, without any problems. But of course there could be something unique within your environment that is causing some type of problem.

If you believe Plaxo may be a factor, you can try eliminating it from the equation by disabling the software. There is a "disable" icon in the Plaxo group that causes Plaxo to not load when OL starts up. You can then see if the problem continues.
