adding another account

Hi,
I have the following question: I used Plaxo with an eMail address. Than I changed this email address, since I want to use the other email address to create a n o t h e r Plaxo account. Unfortunately the system still seems to think that the old email address is connected with my already existing account. So I am looking for a way to create this new Plaxo account with a formerly used email address.


Please let me know how to proceed...

As you noticed, multiple email addresses can be associated with the same Plaxo account. Before a email address can be used with a different email account, it must first be released from the initial Plaxo account.

To do this, go to your Plaxo Account Settings:

Plaxo / My Plaxo / Account Settings / Your Screen Names and E-mail Addresses

and delete the appropriate email address from your account.

Well unfortunately I was too quick. I could remove the old email address from my old account but in trying to create a new account the system still tells me that my email address is in use by another user - me obviously.

What to do?

That's strange. The release should be immediate, and therefore you should be able to use the unused email address on a new account immediately as well.
