Still having trouble with a problem with click to connect as reported in a previous post. Can someone from Plaxo help?

Problem with Click To Connect
The Click to Connect buttons appear to be locked where it shouldn't be. Is this a bug? How do I fix it? The button won't move from the Received line instead of on the preview pane where it should be. Check out the graphic below.

Hmm, that's odd. If you shut down and restart Outlook, does the problem still happen? What version of Outlook are you using? The button is definitely supposed to be in the preview window.

Keeps coming back and stays there. I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR 1.

We're having trouble reproducing this problem here. So at this point we're still investigating it. If you happen to know of anything unusual about your Outlook setup or any other third-party plug-ins you have installed, that might help track down this issue. Thanks!

I have a similar problem. I am using XP and Outlook 2003 and Plaxo has all of a sudden lost the Click to Connect menu/button from incoming emails. I have tried turning C2C on and off in preferences, but it stubbornly refuses to return. How do I reactivate this feature? It's one of the best parts of Plaxo.

If you're talking about the CTC button on e-mail windows (as opposed to preview pane), we're looking into this, but it looks like this was actually "broken" by a recent update from Microsoft. If you have Outlook 2003 SP2 with this version 11.8118.8107 SP2, then that's probably the cause.

We don't have a solution yet, but hopefully we can have a workaround available soon...

Yup, that appears to be the problem. Hopefully, you'll have a Plaxo update soon to fix this, as this is one of the best features of the software!

Yes, we do have a fix for this. It's actually in the same beta version as we're using for Outlook 2007/Vista (see this thread: http://forum.plaxo.com/showthread.php?t=3114).
