Hi,
I looked at your gallery to find out, who's using the plaxo widget. You claim that youtube and jajah are some of your users. But I didn't find any plaxo widget or refference on both of the sites.
Is this just scam to attract more users?
Please explain yourself!

Hi Criscrasp,
Wow. You're really keeping an eye on us. :-)
Up until recently (couple weeks ago) YouTube had the Plaxo Address Book Access widget available if you were logged in and wanted to share a video. It was hard to find and hard to use (they were trying to create another address book from it.) We had talked to them about making improvements in how they use it. They didn't notify us that they had made a change, we noticed it, and last week we put a call into them to see what's up.
The gallery contains both widget and api developers. JaJah and Plaxo are working together on many fronts. You'll have noticed the JaJah icons in Plaxo Online and in Outlook with Plaxo Click to Connect. I don't have a JaJah account that I can quickly check whether they are widget and/or api devs, but if it makes you feel better, they also have the Plaxo logo as a partner on their site.

So, no scam. Developers are allowed to use the widget and/or the api (for the api commercial use requires an agreement), we put them up in the gallery only after they agree to be in the gallery - they have to ship us the logo and the 25 word description. I verify the widget operation (with the api it is up to the account manager for the developer) before we put their listing in the gallery.
Other questions?
Best,
Kathy
