Impor Massive Contacts

Hi again....

I have implement the Address Book Access gadget on www.cachinko.com and build an user control in asp.net to insert this feature in multiples pages. It works excelent!!!.

This site is still in a beta versión but online..... however my client is a bit special and tried to import 800 contacts from yahoo and the gadget was freeze!! Is there a limit of contacts to import? how can i improve this to made a better import.? and....... is there a way to step to directly provide my credentials?... i mean, if a want to import hotmail contacts open the gadget directly in hotmail credentials page, if a want yahoo open the gadget in yahoo credentials page or whatever i want. Does the gadget support localization features to customize the needed languaje?.

Cachinko is on the air and i hope we can launch it to production this week and i wolud like to know if we can add Cachinko´s logo to your api gallery. All you need is to get a cachinko account and select import contacts in the top menu of the page.....

Glad to hear the widget is working for you in your beta version!

I haven't heard from others that importing a lot of contacts from Yahoo causes a freeze, so I'll report it to QA to see if they can reproduce it.

On starting with different params, the trouble I think we get into is that I could tell you a way to do it, but then if we make widget changes, your particular implementation might break.

We're continuing localizing Plaxo this year. It's a big project.

And yes, we can add a widget site to our gallery. You need to let me know your site (and a demo account if a account is required), and send me your logo and 25 word description. I go review the widget on your site (and if all is well), then we'll put up your logo (it goes up with server releases so may not be instantaneous).
