Thanks to all who have given Plaxo 3.0 a try, and to all who have sent feedback so far. Please keep it coming!
Here are a few things to keep in mind, based on feedback so far:
1. Please be patient for Google sync. Your feedback suggested Google Calendar sync needed some critical fixes. So, we’ve temporarily removed this sync point from the menu. (Throughout Preview, sync points may come and go from the Sync Wizard menu, but this will not affect those who have already turned them on.) And, yes, we’re also working on Gmail address book sync!
2. Outlook toolbar users, please upgrade to the 3.0 toolbar – on all computers you use it. To do so, just go to the Sync Dashboard at the bottom of the browser, select “Add Sync Points” and then choose Outlook.
3. Please ignore “broken connections.” Preview is currently giving the impression that contact info is not being shared, when it actually is. This is a known issue, which we ask you to please ignore at the moment.You do not need to try to fix these by sending out requests for sharing!
4. If events in your calendar are off by some number of hours, please verify that you have the right time zone set. To do so, just choose “Settings” from the upper right corner of the screen.
5. Business Contacts Manager for Outlook 2007 is currently not supported. Users of this product won’t be able to sync with Outlook at the moment. We’re working on a fix right now, so please be patient.
