Anyone else having problems syncing with Yahoo! Calendar? I am able to sync with Outlook contacts and calendar. I am also able to sync with Yahoo! Address Book. It just won't sync with Yahoo! Calendar. Plaxo recognizes the problem because I get the message, "We're having trouble synchronizing with your Yahoo! account." If I set the Sync Setting for Yahoo! Calendar Sync to "off," the message no longer appears. So, I am confident that the problem is with Plaxo's Yahoo! Calender Sync. I've waited patiently for Plaxo to fix the problem on their own, but it's been more than a week, and there's been no change. I'm open to suggestion from other users, or Plaxo itself.

We're having trouble authenticating certain accounts for Yahoo! Calendar sync and are working on a fix. If you'd like to try to get it working (and help us debug the issue) you can remove your current Y! endpoint and add a new one that only syncs the calendar. If it works, you can then go back and enable the Y! AB sync. Please let us know how it goes.

Yes, this resolved the issue. Thanks!

Good to hear! If it breaks again please let us know. :) Either way, we hope to have a real fix up in the near future.

Actually, if a contact in Outlook/Plaxo has multiple email addresses, they aren't all carrying over to Yahoo and are not in 1st, 2nd, 3rd order. It may have been a mapping issue I missed. Anyone else?

Is anyone else still having this problem?

My Plaxo calendar seems to only be synching with gmail? I also have MSN and yahoo sync points, but they don't seem to work at all. My yahoo calendar seems to be empty whereas Plaxo and gmail calendars have data.

Thanks
/Ken

Hi Ken -

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I looked at your account and discovered that your Yahoo calendar is syncing to a separate Plaxo folder called 'Yahoo Calendar (bbb90104)'. This Plaxo calendar folder contains zero events. When this folder synced with your Yahoo calendar, nothing appeared on Yahoo because there were zero events inside that Plaxo calendar folder to sync across.

However, your Google calendar is syncing with a different calendar folder called 'Kenneth Wu' which is also your default calendar folder.

I assume that you want your Yahoo calendar to also sync to your default calendar folder as well. Here's what you should do:

1. Delete the Yahoo endpoint. (Click on the Yahoo icon. Click on the 'Manage' link. On the popup, click and confirm 'Delete this endpoint'.)

2. Re-establish the Yahoo endpoint. (Click on '+Add sync points' on the sync dashboard at the bottom of the screen. Then choose Yahoo and login with your credentials. Choose the default 'Sync my contacts and merge it with my Plaxo contacts.' for the Yahoo address book. Choose the default 'Sync my calendar and merge it with my Plaxo calendar folder' and choose your default calendar folder named 'Kenneth Wu'. )

3. That's it. Your Plaxo and Google calendar events should appear on your Yahoo calendar.

Let us know if you experience any more problems. And thanks for using Plaxo!

Mark

I am having this problem as well (just signed up to try to make my iPhone useful and sync to a web-based calendar *eyeroll* I don't understand the instruction to "remove your current Y! endpoint" because I am a techno Igmo.

Help anyone?

I've been checking weekly and there is still no sync option for yahoo calendar. I've contacted support a few times and I'm told it's almost fixed each time. No dates are given and almost fixed has turned into months on end. What's going on? Is anyone actually working on it? This is one of the core features of Plaxo and it's just dropped off as if it's just a minor issue.
