I have installed the new Plaxo client for Mac, syncing seems to work OK. However, I also have Microsoft Sync services (sync addressbook, and iCal to Entourage) - after the update, the Microsoft Sync services will always fail.

The 2nd issue is that the Conflict Resolver will never resolve the conflicts - even after I have selected which platform resolves the conflict - it just keeps reappearing.

Any ideas?

There are a number of issues with the current Mac client that can cause problems with iCal sync. That is why we had it disabled for the default installation, though we made it available for those who were interested to give it a try. Thanks to all who have tried it out and provided feedback on iCal sync.

We're prepping a new release of our entire suite of software for Plaxo 3.0 beta preview which we hope to release in the very near future. This release with have a much improved Mac iCal sync component so if you're running into problems easily now, perhaps hold of on further iCal sync testing until this update is released. For what it's worth, while I could sync with Entourage using build 254 of the Mac client, Sync Services would often grind away for 15 to 30 minutes on my dual 2ghz G5 while it attempted to sync Entourage and Plaxo changes. We haven't yet put the latest build through our suite of tests to see how three way syncing is working between Plaxo, iCal and Entourage but plan to do that soon.
