I have both a Mac (iCal) and PC (Outlook 2003) with the very latest Plaxo 3 software installed on each (updated just a couple of days ago). My "master" calendar is in Outlook and I want to sync data with iCal on my Mac.

What I've found is that Outlook syncs with Plaxo Online OK but when my Mac subsequently syncs with Plaxo Online, every all-day event is duplicated at least once (so that I then have two or three versions of the same entry). In Outlook, these events are no longer "all-day" but run from 13.00 on the original day to 13.00 on the following day. I'm in the UK and so in the GMT time zone (currently 1 hour ahead of this due to British Summer Time/Daylight Leaving Time). I have a suspicion this is something to to with the problem?

I've stopped my Mac syncing with my Plaxo Online calendar as it took me almost two hours to correctly delete all of the duplicate entries (I have a lot of calendar entries)!

OK, I'm still having problems with all-day events, even though I haven't synced with my Mac. Now some (not all) all-day events are being shown in both Outlook and Plaxo Online as being a day earlier than they were originally!

Is anyone else having problems with all-day events and Plaxo 3?

Hi there - I had this problem, but found that if you click on the calendar settings link on the top RHS and set the timezone to GMT the problem went away - give it a try! Steve

We're actively working to rectify the problems that have been reported with all-day events. I know we've made some improvements for our next release of Plaxo 3.0 Preview, but we have more changes in mind for the follow-on release that should put these issues to rest.

yes i'm experiencing the same stuff. This is really annoying. My outlook calendar has gone haywire. However, the plaxo online calendar is ok

hi, today i discovered that my outlook calendar (in two computers) had gone haywire. All day events becomes an event beginning at some odd hours the previous days, and many of my appointments (not all) shifted about 8 hours. Should i delete all calendar entry (about 200 of them) and add it again? Or will newer plaxo edition rectify this problem automatically?

Hmm, this sounds like it might be a timezone issue. Can you go to Plaxo Online, and then go to Settings near the top, and then see if the Timezone is set correctly. Also make sure your Windows machine is set to the same time zone.

If the data is already incorrect on Plaxo Online with the correct timezone settings, then you may need to re-sync these up from Outlook. You can contact support via e-mail for help on the best way to do this - basically it would involve first deleting your sync endpoint (to prevent deletes from syncing across) and then removing one set of items or the other, then re-setting up sync.
