Thanks for the feedback - a Firefox toolbar is something we've considered and some engineers here have actually done some work on it. This may be something that is released in the future, but if you have ideas on what features you'd like to see here, please let us know.

Also, you can try out the FF/IE7 plugin that's available on labs.plaxo.com. It'll allow you to search your contacts, events, tasks, and notes all from the browser search box.
