Meebo and IM/Contact Management

Very happy to see Meebo on the Plaxo 3.0 Online - though I fear this isn't a true partnership. Is there any more information on this?

It would be nice if Plaxo and Meebo were able to sync such that:

All my IM contacts were in Plaxo - including Plaxo having seperate fields for each of the major IM services Meebo supports. I figure after this I will need to run de-dup to merge many of these togethor, but well worth the trouble.

All of the IMs I have listed in my Plaxo address cards were able to be "synced" so they are on my contact lists. Granted, removing ones I don't want will be a challenge, so once I remove someone, don't auto-sync it back. If someone adds a new IM address, I want it to show up on my IM service if I am syncing with their Plaxo card!

Thoughts?

I definitely agree. On my Mac, I use Adium and it nicely syncs the names with my contact list, but only when they are present in both. It would be nice if via plaxo and meebo, all my contacts+IM's could be sync'd.

This really just looks like they are passing the screen right to Meebo. I agree that it's a good start, but I'd like to see real syncing for this, as well.

Real syncing would be great. I'd be happy just to have the Meebo tab back! Where did it go?
