Are comcast users able to us 3.0 beta? I always get a "lost link" message when logging in. I am able to access beta via a regular plaxo account. Please advise. Thanks.

I had the same problem. It did not present until the second day after I signed up for the comcast premium service. I had to deactivate my comcast premium service to regain access to Plaxo.

The only way I have found to do it is each day subscribe at comcast then unsubscribe immediately, that then gets you the premium services for that day and then you can log in at the normal URL.

Wish they would support the preview for comcast users.

The Comcast Plaxo 3.0 isn't yet ready for testing. If you'd like to beta test 3.0 and you're a Comcast user, you'll need to opt out Comcast premium first.

Thanks for testing!

Trevor,

Is there an ETA for that (even a rough one)? the feature that I would like to take advantage of is the "LinkedIn" sync and it looks like it is not available with the pre-3.0 version for Comcast users.

Thanks,

Sagy

Hi Sagy,

There's no ETA yet for the Comcast cobranded 3.0 version of the service.

Additionally, the LinkedIn service is not yet available via the Comcast cobranded 2.0 service. If you'd specifically like to try out the LinkedIn sync, you'll need to opt out of the Comcast version and sign up for Plaxo Premium. When viewing Plaxo 2.0, you'll see an activated "LinkedIn" button in the toolbar that will allow you to set up a LinkedIn sync.

Hope that helps,
Trevor

Has there been any update to the status of this?

One man's opinion: I suspect the Comcast co-branded version of Plaxo 3.0 is tightly tied into the Comcast/Zimbra/Plaxo SmartZone initiative. I don't expect to see the Comcast Plaxo 3.0 before the whole SmartZone package is introduced.
