Hi
When I sync from outlook 03 - initially the tasks on plaxo online are grouped under category headings - however when I change them they do not keep in sync.
Ideas ?

I don't believe that the categories you assign to items in Outlook are synced to Plaxo. I just checked and they're definitely not showing up in calendar entries. I don't use categories for tasks, but will try and add a few and report back if I see any different behavior for those.

I have a similar problem. I have Plaxo 3.2.3.43 syncing with a home computer and work computer. The home computer runs Outlook 2007, and the work computer runs Outlook 2003.
I had several tasks on Outlook 2007 that were categorized, which were synced to Plaxo. The Plaxo web site correctly displayed the task categories. Then these synced to Outlook 2003, which showed all the tasks with no categories. So I re-categorized them all in Outlook 2003, and when I got home found that Outlook 2007 now had no categories (I forgot to check the Plaxo web site at this point). So I re-categorized one more time on (this time on Outlook 2007) just to be sure, and, well, you guessed it: a flat list again on Outlook 2003.
This sure looks like a bug in how Plaxo handles task categories between Outlook 2003 and 2007. I have categorized contacts, and these seem to be OK. Any thoughts on whether this a bug? Any workaround suggestions?
I just downloaded the latest Outlook plug-in and notice it has a later version. I'll try that just in case it helps. BTW, is the latest version number posted somewhere?

We did have an issue synchronizing task categories (any Outlook version), but it should be fixed now. The specific version of the Plaxo Toolbar shouldn't matter for this. Please let me know if you are still experiencing this issue.
