View Full Version : Re-Appearing Toolbar buttons in Outlook 2003

I'm running Outlook 2003 with the toolbar (version 3.6.1.3), and all buttons keep re-appearing after restart, even though I have some of them disabled (LinkedIn, Ecards, De-duper). In fact, if I open up the Options->Advanced dialog, those options are indeed unchecked. In order to remove them again, I need to re-check all the buttons, click "Apply", then uncheck the ones I don't want and "Apply" again.
Then when I restart Outlook: there they are again.

Any suggestions?

This is indeed a bug in the Outlook client. We have fixed it and it will be part of the next release.

If you wish I can send you a "pre-release" version with this fix, with the understanding that although we believe it to be stable and functional, as any "pre-release" software there are some risks involved as it hasn't passed through the full QA cycle.

That's okay, since it's only a minor annoyance. As long as it's planned to be fixed, I can wait for the official release. Thanks a lot for the response (and the great Plaxo service). I can sleep again...
