Installed Outlook toolbar and after completion chose to run Outlook. It started with the Plaxo login window. My email address was already populated, entered the password and got error saying invalid password/username. Tried several times. Something to note: I registered on plaxo.com using my OpenID identifier but then saw my email in my profile on the website, so it should be ok. Changed the password on the website and tried again in Outlook - same invalid password error.

Restarted Outlook and the Plaxo buttons stopped working. I can click on them but nothing happens. Reinstalled Plaxo toolbar for Outlook but again the same result - no reaction on any of the buttons.

What could be wrong with my setup for both the issues described above?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like there's one more step you need to do:

The engineers working on this say to "...go into Plaxo Online account settings and create a Plaxo password..." and then you can use your Plaxo e-mail address and Plaxo password to sign into the Outlook toolbar.

There is a plan for putting the OpenID support into the Outlook toolbar as well, but this hasn't yet been completed. Thanks....

Thanks Bryan.

I am not sure how exactly I should "create a password on the website". The best thought I had about it was to change my password there which I actually already did as I said in the original post:
Changed the password on the website and tried again in Outlook - same invalid password error.

Anton

Thanks! It is all right now. I don't know what fixed it actually but today I managed to login using my email address.
