Missing search contacts button in new Pulse toolbar version

After upgrading to Pulse, the contacts search button that was embedded in Plaxo outlook tollbar is missing and I can not add it by any way.
Can you explain ?

This feature is not currently available in the 3.x version of the Outlook toolbar. Our data had indicated that this feature was not used by many users, however if there is enough demand we may bring it back in a future version.

I have also this problem. I used this feature most of the time in the earlier version and miss this feature very much. I found it one of the best features in the toolbar. At this moment I like to go to the earlier version, just for this feature. Is this possible?

Can you answer whether it is possible to roll back to the earlier version with the contact search feature ?

For now, the 2.x version of the toolbar can be installed from http://down.plaxo.com/down/release-2.13.1.3/PlaxoInstallNT.exe.

What was my dellusion reading this post and the answer concerningthis option wich i us often too ! Maybe should be nice to publish a vote for activating it again.

Otherwise i don't understand why the option wasn't disable instead of being completely remove. Or it is due to recoding the function ?

I very much liked the CONTACTS button as well.
This was my most used feature in PLAXO.
As a matter of fact, I've had my associates install PLAXO simply because they wanted this feature.

I will re-install older version but please let me know if a new version includes this feature.

What is happening about reinstating this search tool. I was most annoyed when the latest version of Plaxo installed and took away this invaluable function. IAt work I am primarily forced into using Outlook and having the Plaxo Search and sync buttons at my fingertips was VERY important. Now I am forced to switch to my browser to use the Plaxo search function or get bored waiting for the Outlook search to return some contact details.

The Plaxo Outlook search button was invaluable and a breath of fresh air. BRING IT BACK please.

It is amazing how such important tool was removed.
