unlinked entries in appointments

Hi all!!
I use Plaxo to synch my appointments on two different office pc's and my home laptop. The three computers are not always online, nor are they running outlook all the time.
Opening outlook will most of the time synch the appointments. Some times there is an appointment or two missing. Pushing synch will not do the job. If I open plaxo sychronization manager I will see " there are # unlinked entries. download or delete"
Why aren't these synchronized like the rest?

Well it sounds like you are using the 2.x version of the Plaxo Toolbar for Outlook - you should probably move to the 3.x version (http://www.plaxo.com/downloads/outlook) which does not have unlinked items.

For 2.x this generally happens when there are items that have been created on the Plaxo Online side (or from another sync point) and the user chose not to create them in Plaxo. However there's a "don't show again" checkbox on that prompt, and if the user checks that box, it will do the same thing each time. In Plaxo Preferences, there should be a Reset Dialogs button or something similar which will cause those prompts to appear again.

This is a bit confusing, and in the 3.x version this part of the sync process has been simplified.

That's the baffling part, appointments are always booked the same way. Why they sometimes show as unlinked entries and many times appear correctly , beats me!!
I'm going to install v 3, hope this fixes it..
