I just downloaded the plaxo w/pulse updated outlook toolbar, and the click-to-connect butten has changed. Now the click-to-connect button in my e-mail messages says "Invite to Pulse" when I receive e-mails from non-plaxo members. I previously loved this button feature (a co-worker showed it to me and that's why I joined plaxo) because of the ability to quickly determine of the sender was currently a contact, and to add them to my address book if needed.
Now if I want to add contacts to my address book without sending what is basically spam to all of my industry contacts, I have to click on the teeny little arrow on the right for the drop down menu. Additionally, if I happen to miss and hit the big button instead, I have to wait while a browser starts/pages load before I can cancel the operation. This feature is frustrating and I am considering disabling it altogether, which is sad because it's the reason I joined Plaxo in the first place. I miss the old click-to-connect button. Would it be possible to make the click to connect button into 2 equally-sized buttons -- one to "invite to pulse" (or connect, etc), and one to add the contact to our address book?
