Wrong full name format in outlook

I don't understand what I am doing wrong. New names in Plaxo when they are sync'd to outlook get entered as Jones, John even though I have the default in outlook set to First (middle) Last. If you press the Full Name button on the contact screen, the last and first name fields are correct. The "File as" field is also correct.

Is there any way to change the way Plaxo enters the names? I have a thousand names entered the other way.:mad:

You might want to check the name format on Plaxo Online. The full name should be synced so that it is the same way in Outlook as it is in Plaxo Online. By default this should be First Last, though it may depend on your locale settings. So for example if I create a contact online with my Plaxo account with the name "Firstname Lastname" and sync it down to Outlook (where I also have the full name format as First (Middle) Last, then the contact's full name is "Firstname Lastname".

When you talk about the "name format on Plaxo Online" are you refering to the selection to sort on the first or last name? If so, it is set to sort on the first name.
