How come my Plaxo toolbar (or rather the invite to pulse-button) reports that my contacts are "Not in address book" when they really ARE?

I am running XP with office 2007 (Sv).

Guessing that it may be because of my Swedish version of Outlook? My contacts are NOT stored in the folder "Contacts" - it is called "Kontakter" in Swedish.

However, when I choose "Add to addressbook", contacts ARE added, but still reported as "Not in address book".

This used to work just fine prior to version 3. Is version 3 still a beta or what?

The text is a little confusing - "not in address book" actually means not in a contact folder which is synced with Plaxo. With the newest versions of the Plaxo Toolbar for Outlook, the non-default contact folders are not synced automatically, so any contacts in those folders would be reported as "not in address book".

The name of the Contacts folder won't matter. You can look in Plaxo, Advanced, Synchronization Manager to see which folders are syncing with Plaxo.

You may also want to re-download the toolbar from www.plaxo.com/downloads/outlook - the most recent version has a fix for a problem which might cause the "not in address book" to be reported under certain unusual conditions.
