Hi All,

Plaxo looks to be a very good solution to keep my dates and contacts and sync them using my home Mac OS X and office Outlook.
Unfortunately, here at office we have a proxy server which forbit access to plaxo.com (even pulse, forums, etc.).
I really want to sync my office Outlook with my Plaxo account.
Did somebody faced with this issue?

I manage to install an http proxy server outside of enterprise. How can I configure Plaxo Outlook plugin to go throught it?
Or setup an http tunnel to go out of enterprise. Do you know of a working solution?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards.
RYL

Well I'm not sure about your exact setup, but Plaxo basically uses a mechanism similar to a browser to connect, and will use the Internet Explorer network settings. So if you connect using IE to Plaxo smoothly, that would be a good start. The toolbar will connect to the machine capi.plaxo.com for syncing - there's nothing viewable there from a web browser though.

Hello Bryan,

Thanks for your answer, but it's my issue ... I can't connect to Plaxo from office using IE, neither FireFox.
Plaxo is blacklisted on my company firewall.

Did someone got around this?
