For some reason, you don't allow us to remove the notifier from the taskbar tray without uninstalling the entire app. I keep finding errors in my logs from the notifier trying to do things, even though I've exited the app.

http://help.plaxo.com/al/12/1/article.asp?aid=1557&n=5&tab=search&bt=4n&r=0.7693598&s= tells about how to remove everything, but I would like to keep my Outlook synchronized.

How can I completely eliminate Pulse Notifier from my system while keeping the rest of Plaxo running on my Outlook? Outl 2003, Win XP SP2.

Thanks, Michael

If you right-click on the Plaxo system tray icon and choose Exit, and then Permanently, this should prevent the notifier from running at all.

In the new version we should be releasing very soon (3.12), you can also use the Uninstaller to just disable the notifier.

Thank you, yes, I did that when I first saw it installed without my permission (you don't give an option to install it or not when installing the toolbar).

I still get plaxo dll errors related to the notifier. I would like to remove it and any of its remnants off the system.

Please make it completely optional so that it is not installed except by user choice and opt in, please.

In the meantime, anyway to remove it (not just disable the tray portion) from the system til the next version?
