Cannot Connect to Plaxo Server

I'd like to upgrade Plaxo 2.13.1.2 to a more current version; preferably the version on a sync'd computer (3.13.0.80). But the computer with the older version has the following message:

Could not connect to Plaxo server to check for updates. (See attached pic)

Can someone help me resolve this issue?

Hmm, that's strange - not sure why you'd be seeing that message. However, you can upgrade by simply going to http://www.plaxo.com/downloads - the button for the new Outlook toolbar should be at the top.

Did that and received an 'Upgrade was Successful' message. Computer still has 2.13 version and still getting the 'cannot connect to Plaxo server' message.

Hmm, that's odd. If you are running on Vista, this may be related to some differences in how the 2.x and 3.x versions deal with the Windows user account privileges. You could try to completely uninstall the 2.x version (try running the uninstall.exe from c:\program files\plaxo\2.13.1.2) and then reinstall the 3.x version.
