Hi all,
First time posing - please bear with me.
Using Plaxo Toolbar for Outlook.
Have a question: is there any way to control the direction of the synchronization? I would like to be able to choose every time whether my Plaxo Address Book should be made to be like my Outlook Contacts or, vice versa.
Why? Well, for example: I made changes to a record in my Outlook: I deleted a Home phone number and I added to the same record a new Cell number. Result: synchronization resulted in the record having all the phone numbers, new ones added as well as those deleted.
Ho do I get around this?!
I would be extremely grateful for any help with this issue.
Thank you,

We don't currently offer the ability to do a one-way sync, though this has been considered.

However, for the example you mentioned, once the initial synchronization is complete and successful, the changes made in Outlook should be synchronized correctly over to Plaxo. So if you delete one phone number and add another in Outlook, the same thing should happen to your contact in Plaxo.

If from Outlook you choose Plaxo, Advanced, Sync Now and don't see the setup wizard (which prompts you for e-mail and password) then it looks like you've completed the initial synchronization successfully.
